Cape Peninsula ride

Here's a favourite of ours - a blast around the Cape Peninsula covering some spectacular roads.

Starting at WMC heading south on the M3, the first epic asphalt takes you past Kirstenbosch on Rhodes Drive to Constantia Nek.

Rhodes Drive

Heading down to Tokai and up Ou Kaap se Weg and down into Noordehoek. From there its straight over Black Hill to Glencairn - take a right and right again onto the super tight and slightly rough surface of Redhill - watch out for the tight hairpins.

Redhill

There is a cool view point at the top - on the last hairpin take a right and continue until you see a canon.

Then head down the back of Red Hill and on to Scarborough - grab lunch at The Hub or Whole Earth Cafe. After lunch head along Misty Cliffs (bumpy surface - watch out) to Kommetjie.

From Kommetjie head back into Noordhoek, and take a left for the world renowned Chapmans Peak. Stop at the top view point to take it all in and then head down into Hout Bay (you'll need to pay a toll at the bottom of Chapmans).

From Hout Bay head up Suikerbossie, and cruise along Victoria Road, Atlantic ocean on your left and the Twelve Apostles on your right.

From Camps Bay head up Kloof Road (aka The Glen - and one of our favourites) and over Kloof Nek, winding your way into the CBD - and back to WMC for a refreshing frosty beverage.
